Mostly Mums
Mostly Mums meet every fortnight on a Friday during term time at 9.30am. We welcome anyone who would like to come and join us, including their children who can play in the same room while we study.
We start with a coffee and chat and then move onto an informal Bible study. Together we explore different themes and Bible passages following a published Bible study guide. Over the past year we have looked at 'The Gospel of Luke' by Max Lucado, 'Growing Through Life's Challenges,' which looked at how certain people in the Bible faced difficult challenges and explored how we can apply their experiences to our lives today. We have recently begun a York Course called 'Faith in the Fire.' Our aims are to deepen our knowledge of the Bible, including how we can apply it to our lives, widen our understanding of God and to enjoy one another's company. we sometimes meet on other days for coffee and chat.
