Ash Wednesday Service - February 22nd 7.30pm
St Alban's Catholic Church extends a warm welcome to all our fellow Christians at The Church on Oakwood to come and celebrate Ash Wednesday with us, followed by a frugal supper.
Lent Course - starting Wednesday 29th February 7pm
Our annual Lent Course will be held on the following dates:
29th February, 7th , 14th , 21st , 28th , March – Wednesdays – starting at 7 pm with tea/coffee.
This year's course is “Handing on the Torch – Sacred words for a Secular World” and will be led by Fr Paul, Deacon Rosemary Bell or Sister Catherine.
All are welcome so do come along to share an evening of fellowship and lively discussion. Booklets are available from Sandra Endsor at a price of £3.25.
Full Church Meeting - Sunday 11th March
There will be a full Church meeting on Sunday 11th March after the morning service.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Among other issues we will be discussing the role/format of Holy Communion in our Church.
Lenten Living Stones Services - Catholic Derby East Region - starting 28th February at 7pm
LENTEN LIVING STONES SERVICES – Alvaston and Borrowash parishes will work with St Alban's Parish to deliver the programme for the new ‘Derby East’ region.
28th February – St Alban’s, Mass at 7pm then discussion
13th March, St Hugh’s, Borrowash, format as above
27th March, English Martyrs, Alvaston, format as above

The Annual General Meeting will be held after the Morning Service on Sunday 22nd April.
